American Chippendale Corner Cupboard

Circa 1780-1800.  Walnut.  The scalloped molding relates to the Covington School of cabinet makers mentioned as Joseph Langfelt Covington in Eastern Shore of Virginia Raised-Panel Furniture: 1730-1830 by Jim & Marilyn Melchor/N. Gordon Lohr (pp 112-117, figs. 90-93).  One-piece construction.  Refinished with some restoration.  86" x 44" x 19".
